The three showcases presented tonight was How to merge email accounts, How to set up your web cam, and How to use ooVoo for video charm sending files and recording with your webcam. All three of these presentation were interesting. I didn't know how to use either of these technologies before tonight. The technology that will probably use most is the merging email accounts. I have multiple email accounts and it can become very time consuming trying to check all email at one time. I don't have a web cam so even though regina and beverly did a great job this probably wont be very helpful in my everyday life and that also goes with ooVoo. The discussion in class was geared toward standards. We look at standards from the National level and the local level also. If you are a teacher you should know that along with standards their are benchmarks. Both of these are very important to education. A lot of the curriculum framework is generated from the standards and bench marks.

Very interesting night. We had to present our first part of our clinical visit. Each group did a great job. Our group focused on Nichols Middle School in Canton, MS.

Three presentations took place on tonight's class. How to Publish a Video on Internet, How to use a jump Drive, and Brochure Producing. Of the three, I really enjoyed how to publish a video on internet because this is the one I can use the most. I am enrolled in a reading class, and on December 1 we have a big presentation. Well brochures and invitation must be done to hand out to invite people to our event. Well this will be good for me to present to the person in charge of the brochures and invitation. As far as how to use a jump drive, i pretty much know how use a jump drive. I will probably never publish a video on the internet because I don't have any interest in things like that. The discussion in class tonight was the electronic portfolio and lesson plans.

1. Assignment: I saw two electronic portfolios that I say was neat. One was Mrs. Small. I enjoyed the pictures and her background features. I also enjoyed       e-portfolio because it seemed as if she has been working on her for a while. It is very organized.

On September 21, I presented How to Burn a Disc. Even though I was prepared I noticed that their was a difference in Powerpoint 2003 and Powerpoint 2007. Therefore it was kind of difficult to explain showcase my technology. But overall it turned okay. Darren Daniel presented Xtranormal. It was interesting. If I find time I might decide to create me a class lesson using Xtranormal. Even though it might catch the students attention, it seems to be very time consuming. The next presentation was on powerpoint. I pretty much knew how to use the powerpoint so their presentation wasn't just helpful to me.  However, they did a great job explaining how to use powerpoint to those who are illiterate the concept.  In class Dr. Kang had us to write a mini proposal on a technology with given 1,000,000.00. We were placed in groups and had to create a concept map. This map was submitted to him at the end of class.

In tonights class we had three presentations. We had I-pod Touch, Introduction to Excel, and Engrade. Each of the topics tonight will be of much help to me. I-pod Touch is very similar to my Iphone. The only thing that the Ipod touch doesn't do is make actual phone calls. I enjoy every feature that it has to offer. My most favorite feature is the Notes feature. The notes feature keeps me organized from bills to grocery list. I am a very unorganized person so that feature helps me out alot. However, there are plenty other features of the Ipod Touch that enjoy: Safari, Itunes, Music player, the app store, etc. Excel was very helpful also. I probably will not use it in my class but I will most definately use it at home to balance my checkbook. The engrade looks very helpful but i will have to play with it  little more to get a better understanding of it.

Tonights class presentation was on how to make a movie using Microsoft Live Movie Maker.  This presentation is very helpful. I can use this at my home and also in the classroom. Students of today are very intersested in technology. So I can generate a movie using this technology application to gain their attention. I can use this app at home for holidays. Our family takes plenty of pictures, so I can generatea  movie that includes alot of pictures and showcase it during family gatherings.

Tonight we had four presentations: Iphoto, Ipad, Twitter, and the Promethean board. The Ipad and Iphoto were the only two that were interesting. This is becauase I have a twitter account and I use the Promethean board in my class. Therefore, I pretty much am familar with the two. The Ipad on the other hand is nice. That is going to be my next investment ( if I can call it that.) I probably wont invest in the Iphoto becasue I've never been a big fan of skype and that puts me in the mind of that. Great Class. To close the class out Dr. Kang introduced us to google earth. This was very interesting. I had the opportunity to use a classmate ipad to experiment with it on my own. I was able to type in the address of my job. This allowed me to see a  view of my school and the football field. Nice!!
